MetaSat

In close collaboration with the Harvard and Smithsonian Center of Astrophysics Walbach Library, we  are developing and prototyping MetaSat: an open metadata schema to link the data, software, and hardware of small satellite missions. The project will be piloted using SatNOGS, Libre Space’s open-source network of  satellite ground stations.

Library Space Technology Network (LSTN)

As part of this project, new SatNOGS ground stations will be installed in five public libraries around the world. These five libraries will be the first participants in the pilot program of the Library Space Technology Network (LSTN). The goal is to expand LSTN and develop educational resources to support the libraries participating in this pilot program.
